A Look into the Lives Of Birds - September 8th, 2010

I spy with my little eye..... a great chance to get out and see Jasper’s birds!

Come and join Gord Ruddy on a fascinating birding field-trip where you will discover what types of birds are around the park at this time of the year and where you can find them.

Date:             Wednesday September 8th, 2010
Time:            5:00pm-8:00pm
Location: The parking lot next to the Old Firehall
Cost :            $10 ( A part of this fee will be given as a donation to the Friends of Jasper)

Things to bring (if you have them): binoculars, a bird guide and your questions!

Climate change and global warming challenge interpretive

knowledge. This handbook provides a primer on climate
change and includes:

• An introduction to climate change with explanations
of climate vs. weather and tips for communicating
key concepts;
• An overview of global climate change with information
on past climate changes and greenhouse
gases;
• Local climate change observations and research on
the impacts of global warming in the Rockies
• A description of individual actions that can reduce our
impact and examples of success stories.

Cost (Including postage anywhere in Canada): $30 plus GST (non members)
